Dave Winnacker, our new Fire Chief of the Moraga-Orinda Fire Protection District...more
One of the premier social and fundraising events in our area is coming to Moraga on March 24th. It’s the annual Moraga Valley Kiwanis Club Lobster Fest.
Those who have attended can attest that this is a fun and festive party. With our focus on youth, this event is an opportunity for our Lamorinda community to give back to the many organizations that Kiwanis supports, while have fun doing so. It’s also a chance to connect with the rest of the community including “movers and shakers” and meet folks you may not know. Lobster is always a treat and there’s music and dancing. Win valuable items in our Silent Auction, participate in our Lobster Pot drawing and Premium Wine Raffle that will provide the winner with a small wine cellar all their own. Oh and our high school Key Club members from Acalanes, Miramonte and Campolindo serve the dinner and join in the dancing.
The Lobster Fest sells out every year so purchase your tickets before they are gone.

Moraga Valley Kiwanis Club
The Kiwanis Club of Moraga Valley is a nonprofit public benefit corporation organized exclusively for these charitable purposes. The club's mission: "We’re a service club dedicated to improving local and regional communities, especially for children and youth, through service projects and funding of humanitarian organizations."
Our community relies heavily on volunteerism, and service in the Kiwanis Club is an excellent way for individuals to make a difference, particularly in the lives of children, which is the primary mission of Kiwanis International. We encourage you to learn more about the Moraga Valley Kiwanis Club here on our site and by talking to our members.
